Papago and Cave Creek Golf Courses to Host Phoenix City Junior Golf Championship
Popular JGAA Event to Feature Some of State’s Top Juniors
PHOENIX, Arizona (June 1, 2009) – The Phoenix City Junior Championship presented by Superlite Block and Belgard Pavers will be played on June 3-4 at Cave Creek Golf Course and the newly-remodeled Papago Golf Course. This year’s event will feature nearly 250 golfers from across the state of Arizona. “The Phoenix City Junior Championships consistently attracts the state’s finest juniors and to have the opportunity this year to play at Papago golf course which underwent a magnificent facelift and did a remarkable job in hosting the LPGA tournament earlier this year, well it should be a wonderful event for everyone involved,” said Tom Cunningham, Executive Director of the Junior Golf Association of Arizona.
